I don't like it well enough to eat it by itself. HOW ABOUT YOU?
So I found this great pumpkin pie recipe, with a twist.
In a graham cracker pie shell, sprinkle caramel ice cream topping and some chopped pecans.
Next, mix a cup of milk, one can of pumpkin, two packets of vanilla pudding mix and 3/4 of a tub of thawed Cool Whip. Whisk together until smooth (look, even a five-year-old can do it). :)
Pour the mixture in the pie crust and refrigerate for 1 hour. Top with remaining Cool Whip, drizzle more caramel sauce, and sprinkly more pecans.

WE ALL LOVED IT!!!

I'm the same way -- and your recipe looks absolutely fabulous! YUM!
I, too, am the same way. There must be so much Cool Whip on my slice of pumpkin pie that people would confuse it for a Cool Whip pie rather than pumpkin! It also must be served very, very cold.
I might make this version to take to the dinner I am going to to guarantee a dessert choice I'll love!
That looks DIVINE!!!!!! I just read a recipe that put a layer of crumbled gingersnaps on the bottom. yum!
I thought the movie was a DUD!!!!! We must discuss. SF and I laughed over the jean gauchos the wolves wore and overall thought it was too slow. Or I don't know. The fact remains that I loved those books so much that the movies will never be able to compare.
Katie--Oh no--yes we MUST discuss sometime. Did you at least like it better than the first? I get what you mean about the books though!!
That pie sounds delicious!! I'm not a pumpkin pie fan, personally, but I would eat that. I'm totally going to make that for my family ASAP! I want to make Pioneer Woman's pumpikin cheesecake, too.
When are we going to get a review of New Moon?
YUM! I love pumpkin pie in all its forms.
agreed, whipped cream is a must for pumpkin pie!
OMG yum. yum. yum. I love how the little one is "helping" so cute.
