I have these really old (antique) photo's that my Mom bought at a yard sale years ago...they're really amazing! I'd love to know the stories of the people in them. I love old stuff like that!
Oh, I love old things. I have all this old stuff like ration booklets from World War II from my grandpa. I sometimes just get it out and look at it. It's amazing. It has HISTORY, you know?
I always go to the cards, first, in the antique stores. On one visit, I managed to find a series of post cards between two young girls planning on meeting in VA for the SSDYLCA (Spring Social Dance for Young Ladies Coming of Age). We haven't changed. As you might imagine, there's little room left for a message. But they covered a period of six months and it was fun planning on getting to go, myself, after awhile!
The cards were together (both to and from) and I'm not sure how that worked out from a statistical view, but it sure was nice to be a part of their planning!
"Ma and Pa... I hardly dare to send this card for fear you have forgotten I can write..."

I wish I could keep my own letters for years & years, but I get impatient with papers and clutter. So everything goes in the trash :(

Ooh, those are fabulous - I would love to own those! I've always been slightly obsessed with old letters and postcards. They're full of history!! :)
