Here's what she said about them:
I stumbled upon a huge basket full of old photos at an antique store over the summer from the same couple of people all dating through 1936-1938 and I think they're all pretty special!
Take a look at some of them. What do you think the captions should say?
"As soon as dad takes this picture, you're getting off the back of my bike, Billy."
"Aw, sis, when do I get a turn riding it?"
"When pigs fly!"
"Thanks for meeting me at our private spot. I've got news."
"What is it Peggy Sue?"
"Me and Bobby got to second base."
"Not again, Stu!"
"I swear he just wants to see us in bathing suits."
"You want another photo? Here's one for you."
"This is one way to be remembered as the class of '38."

This was hilarious!!! I love the "second base" comment that gave me a good chuckle! Old photos are so fun!
So funny! You're right! It would be great to see what they were really thinking at that moment. I'm sure 50 years from now people will be checking out our photos and wondering what the heck we were thinking too ;o)
The one with all the butts. "you can only put your head in the sand for so long."
These photos are adorable.

Did I have a blast with this or whaa? =D
Strange but wonderful. What fun!
These are too much fun. I love vintage photos. I go through my grandparents photos all the time. Hehe I love the Class of 38 pic :) They sort of remind me of those random greeting cards.
Those are great! I love old photos like that. I have one on my desk that my daughter found in one of my grandfather's old cocktail recipe books. It's of one of my older sister's friends as a child. The bottom says Jan 70. So random it would be there!
Love the photos and the stories behind them. It's so cool to think that behind every shot is so many tales... (or tails, in the case of the bum shot).
love the one of the girls sitting on the tree branch!
I love how the captions perfectly matched up with the photo!
I LOVE vintage photos! They always just seem so classic. It is neat to look back onto a completely different time and wonder what their life was like back then. The captions are too cute too!
LOL. this is playing out like a old Andy Rooney movie in my head. I think you nailed every single one of these photos.
OMG! LOVED the second one! Hilarious! Beyond that, I also just love that second photo...and the last one! I swear I would frame those and find a great way to use them in some decorating sweep!
first of all--new follower! *waves*
Second, this was so cool. I loved this! What a great idea.
Anyway, I don't know how I've missed your blog all this time, but I've found you now (dun dun dunnnnn) Can't wait to get to know you a little better (though I'll confess right now, I do a lot of blog reading on my iphone during down time at work, which means I'm forced to lurk more than I comment. If you don't see me that doesn't mean I'm not reading!)
:)
I love the one of the girls in the tree! My grandma and I went through a bunch of their old photos when my grandpa passed. So cool to see...
These were great! Thank you!
Great vintage photos! Thanks for sharing. Love the 'buttress' photo...come visit when you can...
That last one is so funny. I just love vintage photos. Those were the days, I really believe that!
Those are too funny.
