Wordless (or Wordful) Wednesday: The Tooth Tales Begin

Add the Tooth Fairy to Santa, Leprechauns and the Easter Bunny.

We put two bucks under his pillow.

It was a quarter when I was a kid.

What about you?

p.s. Go here to link up to another Wordful Wednesday:

I received a quarter when I was a kid too, enough for the bubblegum machine and I was as happy as a clam (why do they say that?)

I babysat a few years ago and the child received a $5 bill!! How crazy is that?!

Blame it on inflation! Lol! Your boy looks so happy with his missing tooth!

It was a quarter when I was a kid, too. I only had a five dollar bill when Princess Nagger lost her first tooth, so I jinxed myself into $5 a tooth. ACK! :)

We're still waiting for a loose tooth. Should be soon. Um, there were no tooth fairies when I was growing up so we'll make a big deal out of it for our little ones.

LOL! Oh this brings back memories for me. My brother always stole the money and left me a note from the toothfairy saying Santa stole your tooth. Which ignited in me the fear of Santa Clause. I'm talking screaming fit fearful when I was a kid. I once told a mall Santa that what I wanted was for him to go to hell and I wanted my teeth back.
My brother was terrible! hahaha. I'll have to ask him how much I got.

Yep. Just a quarter for me!

Your kid is lucky.

When I was little, I convinced myself that I actually saw the tooth fairy. I was quite sad when the kids at school said she wasn't real :(

We know the truth, tooth fairy!

Last tooth loss and I was handing over $5! Crazy. He's recently told me he believed no longer so I guess I'm that much richer yet poor in the fact that the magic is gone. Thank goodness I have a baby growing up and I can start over again!

My oldest hasn't lost any teeth yet. It was $1 when I was a kid. Haven't thought that far yet.

I got a dollar, but my boys tell me that their friends get $5!

We give $2.

The tooth fairy at my house is not me and is way more generous than I would be. I used to get a handful of coins thrown under my pillow.

I think that it went up as I got older. I don't think that it ever went over $2 though.

I got a buck a tooth if I'm remembering correctly...I've heard of kids getting 20 in recent years. Craziness!

The one and only time I ever got $2 was when I lost my tooth while visiting Grandma! Hmmmmm..otherwise it was a quarter. Of course I could buy to candy bars for 26 cents.

Maybe with the economy it should be a quarter again! Cute photo.

When I was a kid, I always got a silver dollar from the tooth fairy - so cool! Now, I give my own kiddos two dollars. :-)

I was looking for something in my chica's medicine cabinet the other day, and came upon a little box with several baby teeth in it. They'll be home in a couple of weeks...I'll have to ask them about it!

It was 10 p when I was a kid (I was living in England at the time). My kids were expecting $10. Yeah, right!

This year, the Easter Bunny AND the Tooth Fairy hit our house in the same night. It wasn't pretty. ;)
