Thank you for all of your kind words on my BIG NEWS yesterday.
Today I am spending time over at Write on Con. Anybody else? If you haven't heard about it yet, there's a FREE conference over there for kids and YA writers for the next three days. There are lots of on-line lectures and live talks offered by authors, agents and editors. Head over there and look at the schedule!
Also, I am equally excited about writer friend (and beta reader extraordinaire) Kate Walton's agent news.
For the past almost two years, I put myself out there on various sites like Evil Editor, YALITCHAT and Miss Snark's First Victim to get help on my first pages.
I've also asked for lots of manuscript and query help from my critique group and other writer buddies (you know who you are).
So if you are ever STUCK or need HELP, reach out to others. You'll be glad you did. It's better than living in a vacuum, and feeling totally unsure of yourself.
We are a community of writers and need support at every turn.
Have a great big virtual HUG from me!

I too will be spending time over at Write On Con these next few days and I'm pretty darn excited about it!
This is so true! I was totally ready to give up in despair until I started blogging and began to meet hundreds of other amazing writer people. It has made all the difference.
And I said it yesterday but congrats again Christina!
I'm glad you've found such a good support group. Online friends are amazing.
And congrats on the agent!! That's super.
I'll say it again...I am so glad to begin Part B with a friend! I'm still floating around bumping into things, and it's been just over a week. So I'm sure you're WAY up there today!!!!!!!!
p.s. thanks for the shout out :)
How great is it to have a community of writers that is supportive without being competiive :) Love it!! So excited for your big news!
My crit group is currently working on my WIP, and I'm soooooo grateful for them. Sometimes I think I can't suck any more, then they tell me I don't actually suck that much, and I believe them!!
Okay. They don't really phrase it lik that. You get the picture. :)
Oh, and I'm totally at WriteOnCon. Word.
Love that photo! And you're so right - other writers and their support make such a big difference!
Well, you just suck up every bit of information you can because your AGENT will be selling your little self all over the place and you must be ready! There's nothing like a having input from people who only want the best for you... I'm really looking forward to big things from you...

YAY WriteOnCon!
ANd I'm still super stoked on you getting an agent. Really cool news.
When I finish my MS I plan to reach out and get a lot of help. Thanks for the advice.
May I have a hug, please. I too have an agent. As I've told nobody about her, she is a secret agent.
Yay for WriteOnCon! And yay for a community of writers who celebrate and support you :)
