I am so excited to meet up with writer friends, old and new.
And there's a great line-up this year: Agent Mark McVeigh (from the McVeigh agency), Jennifer Rees, Senior Editor at Scholastic (The Hunger Games editor!) and Martha Mihalick from Greenwillow Press, amongst other successful authors and illustrators.
Here are the seminars I signed up for:
*Revisions and the basics of getting your work noticed
*Writing high concept YA genre fiction
*Character development and establishing a strong voice
*Capturing the middle grade reader
So I'll be dreaming of writing all weekend long:
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!
