I am actually right in the middle of this book (SO busy, I couldn't finish it in time). But everyone agreed it was an enjoyable read in an intriguing setting.
We also wondered if it didn't receive the buzz it deserved when it debuted this year because it's a contemporary story (in the midst of more popular paranormals), set in another country.

I haven't heard a thing about this novel but it sounds wonderful!!! I'm definitely adding it to the list to read! I have three others I just purchased this weekend that I must read first!
Oh I have heard about this book, but not got it yet. May have to do some book buying. My poor TBR pile! LOL.
That sounds really good. I long to go to Sumatra to study the last of the orangutans living there. Not in the Ache region, farther South. But I'd like to spend some time in the North also. This sounds like a wonderful book. I'll have to check it out.

Sounds like a touching book. And yes, paranormals are definitely filling the scene.
