Raise your hand if you've grown a garden this summer!
Garden grown vegetables make a light and refreshing side dish when it's just plain HOT and sticky outside.Dice up tomatoes and cucumbers and toss them with salt and pepper. Add just a tablespoon (maybe two) of Ranch or Italian dressing.
Let them marinate for an hour. YUM!
ENJOY YOUR SUMMER WEEKEND!

We have the cucumbers but our tomatoes are still green, sadly.

Zucchini on the grill is recently my very favorite thing.
We're on the same wave length! I posted a recipe today, too!
My husband likes these two sliced thin on a plate and drizzled with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder and basil. But this looks good to me!
Love cucumber and tomato salad! Anything light and refreshing is perfect this time of year :)
Looks great. I have so many cucumbers right now from my CSA. I just made a cucumber salsa but I was thinking about a cucumber, tomato, avacado salad.
So simple, but it looks so good! I definitely don't have a garden, but I'll have to try this recipe. Thanks, Christina!
I love summertime recipes! Visiting your neck of the woods makes me hungry!!!
My stomach just growled when I saw that picture!
Oh, that looks so good!
I wish I could grow something without killing it.
We do Dianne's version, but will try yours, too...I love the harvest!
I wish I had grown a garden this summer :(
but I have been getting some pretty good stuff from a local farm stand, including some killer banana bread...yum.
I don't have a garden, but I'd love this. I order a tomato and cucumber salad whenever I visit one of my favorite restaurants.
Oooo, that looks so good!
I don't have property for a garden, but I do visit the farmer's market.
