Here's what you'll need:
1 bag of Hershey's Candy Cane Kisses
red and green sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
(Feel lazy or in a hurry? Just buy pre-made sugar cookie dough)
*Preheat over to 350 degrees. Remove wrappers from the candy (30-40)
*Beat butter, sugar, vanilla, and egg in large a bowl until blended.
*Stir together flour, baking soda and salt; add alternatively with milk to butter mixture, beating until well blended (or skip these two steps and use your pre-made sugar cookie dough).
*Shape dough into 1 inch balls (the smaller the better). Roll in red or green colored sugar. Arrange on ungreased cookie sheet.
*Bake 8 - 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
*Press candy piece into center of each cookie.
*Makes about three dozen.

Ooo, looks delicious! I've made peanut butter blossoms and will definitely have to try these out.
Heehee, funny picture!
OMG! You get Candy Cane Kisses. We don't. *pouts like a three year old*
Looks nummy! And huge lolz at the vintage zombie pic. Have a great weekend!
Very pretty. I made spiced sugar cookies last night and two other types this week. I want to make ginger cookies and I think that will be enough.
Happy weekend.

Clever. I don't think I have seen those before.
Could you hook up a usb cable and send me a couple to have with my coffee? 'Tis the season :)
Yum! I can't wait to make these! Thanks for the recipe. I'm about to make cookie plates for all the neighbors. These will be a perfect addition.
Didn't know about candy cane kisses, but they sure look good!
I'm definitely making these!
(Cheating with the pre-made dough sounds just about my speed. :) )
This makes my teeth hurt.
Yum! You always have the best recipes! Also, that cartoon made me laugh out loud. :)
They look yummy! I did put the tree up with my hubby though. I told him I wouldn't do it if I had to do it alone. =D
Oh, and I love that zombie poster. I'm so stealing it.
Oh my goodness, these are delightful! I think I might be making a batch this year for my in-law's.
Love the cookies. I've been making treats for MOPS and for the neighborhood school. The school may never want me to make cookies again since I volunteered for the "next day" deadline. I burnt the first tray. :)
These look so colorful and must take delicious! I'm itching to try my hands at it.
Yay, my son found the kisses at Toys 'R Us yesterday. Now I can make these. :D
Oooh gonna pin these! Are you on pinterest???? We made sugar cookies and gave some to the neighbors.
