Can you believe this is my final winter post? You know what that means--spring is right around the corner (and it already feels like it's here--what a mild winter)!
1.Snow smells clean, fresh, and new.
2. Until it turns to an earthy, acrid, muddy mess.
3. But you can always hide inside by the woodsy, smoky fire.

I love your season sense posts, Christina. Not too in love with winter anymore. :P
Love these!
It HAS been a mild winter, and now? 6 inches of snow is predicted for tomorrow ... Our first real snowfall since October!
I love these posts via pictures. You always manage to capture the essence perfectly!
That snowman makes me sad tho :( lol
Have a great week,
Angela
Joanne, we got that amount this past week too and then it melted almost instantly! Such a strange winter!
Didn't have much of a winter here in PA. That's okay though. The past two winters had more than enough snow to make up for this one!
I enjoyed your senses posts, Christina!
I love these images. They make me want to do nothing but write!
You find the best photos. I love the senses posts. They make me think, but are soothing at the same time.
Wow!! I can't believe it either. This winter was ridiculously mild, but no complaints here. I could have winters like this every year from now on.
Thsi is the one I miss out on. I have no sense of smell! :(
love this post!
Today is a cold day...so I can relate...but last week...not so much. Don't hate too much. It's actually cold today.
your pictures are brilliant! love stopping by to feel them!
That is seriously what our snowman looks like right now!
I love these posts!
Mmm, the smell of a fire in the hearth may be one of my favorite smells ever. Too bad it's so warm here that I'm tempted to turn on the air conditioning. :)
Your pictures almost make the Winter bearable, but I'll be glad to see the Spring ones :-)
Your post is about as close as we came to true winter in NE Ohio this year.
Growing up I swear I could always smell when it was going to rain or snow--- which seems so odd to me as I really have hardly any sense of smell
