Damaged Goods

"See, broken things always have a story, don't they?"
(from Summer Of The Gypsy Moths, by Sara Pennypacker)

****

Our main characters are always damaged is some way.
And as writers, it's up to us to shape their story--to repair their wings, their hearts, their souls.
Grow and shift and change. FLY, SOAR, GLIDE.

So off I go with my scissors and tape and glue.

 HAVE A GOOD WEEK!

Love the photos. And so true about our characters at times being damaged in some way.

As your CP, Stina, I'd have to agree. LOL! But that's what makes your stories GREAT!

Or you might need something stronger like duct tape and bungee cords.

So true. I had a hard time making my characters damaged when I first started out. But I have learned.

Love this. I'd never thought about it that way, but so true.

And congrats on your agent news! (I have no idea how recent it is, but since I just heard, wanted to congratulate you). :D

So true. I really have to get back to my characters.

Hm. Better finish up blogging, then. :-)
