WORDLESS Wednesdsay: A Field Trip

(*psst* I'm quiet over here today, because I'm participating in the Write On Con conference over here. Maybe I'll see you there? If not, see you on Friday!) *waves*

Word(ful)less Wednesday: Angkor Wat

It's taken me awhile to get through hubby's photos.

His pictures of the ruins from Cambodia stood out most.

Angkor Wat is a temple complex at Angkor, Cambodia, built for the king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century as his state temple and capital city.

As the best-preserved temple at the site, it is the only one to have remained a significant religious centre since its foundation — first Hindu, dedicated to the god Vishnu, then Buddhist. It is the world's largest religious building. (wikipedia)

Stunning!

Wordless Wednesday: A Rebirth...

...Of sorts.

I am so lost in my new YA manucript that I feel alive, energized, and full of possibilities.

I love that feeling!

(I must admit though, that these photos are making my ovaries go into overdrive!) :D

Wordless Wednesday: Paradise

See those toes?

Well, the body attached to them is loving how the infinity pool (in his suite) overlooks the sea.

He's in his swanky hotel room in Phuket, Thailand.

He's also busy texting the girl he loves. So they can share the experience together.

Who's this girl, you ask? Little ol' me.

;--)

(For those who forgot, my hubby was away in Thailand for two weeks. More pics to come.)

Wordless Wednesday

Enjoyed our weekend in Michigan.
How fortunate to be a guest in a house in the woods--in the middle of Autumn! Evan loved exploring and climbing. Of course, he had to take his two stuffed dragons with him, named Fury and Fire. Brings them everywhere (see them in his hands?)--drives me batty! ;--)

HAVE A GOOD DAY!

Wordless (or Wordful) Wednesday

The thing about fall soccer is, they play rain or shine!

So in the midst of a downpour on Saturday, I left hubby near the soccer field and took my dog, Reilly, for a walk on the path behind the field.

The canopy of the trees provided shelter (mostly). It was quiet, peaceful and... enchanting, really. Like our own secret hiding spot.

This was our view:

Magical!

Wordless Wednesday: Far, Far Away

* We interrupt this regularly scheduled program for a news bulletin*

I'm off to la la land today. I'll be gone all day.

I need to write today. *need to* My new YA book won't leave me alone, and I must write down all of the goodies in my brain!

Have a good day :D

Wordless Wednesday: Take a Guess

I know it's hard to tell in the picture b/c of the glare. But it's a pic of a door from my NYC trip last month.

Take a guess who's door it might be? You earn 10 points if you're right ;--)

Have you guessed yet?

Okay, I'll just tell you. ;-)

The week I went to NY was the week I was making my agent decision.
My fabulous girlfriends told me I HAD TO go to the NY agent's building since we were there and all (the other agent who offered was not in NY), and stand in the lobby.

So we did.

This is Elizabeth's agency door.

Silly, I know, but I just came across it in my photos and it made me smile ;--)

Wordful Wednesday: And We're OFF!

Making sure we've got it all, and then testing it out:
Happy first day, baby boy! *sniffle, not such a baby anymore*

Wordless (or Wordful) Wednesday: The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Evan got one of those Live Butterfly garden kits for his birthday from Nana and Papa.

So we finally ordered the caterpillars and followed the instructions to transfer them into the netted tent. Then we placed flowers and sugar water at the bottom of the tent.
The caterpillars formed chrysalis'...
...and then changed into beautiful butterflies. It was so neat to watch.
We went in our back yard and let them go one-by-one. One butterfly in particular hung onto Evan's finger for a long while.
It was the best science lesson EVER!

Wordful Wednesday: Eating My Way Through NYC

Pumpkin pancakes with cinnamon yogurt from the Orlin Cafe.
Frozen Hot Chocolate from Serendipity.

Lemon ricotta pancakes (is there a breakfast theme here?) from Sara Beth's.
What goes best with breakfast? Mimosas and Bellinis, of course!

No good pictures of pizza this time around. Oh well, I've already met my quota of eating for the month.
